Sarah Jaschen, professional outreach coordinator for the Iowa Donor Network, will lead the ‘Community Conversations’ series Thursday, Dec. 1.
The monthly series is hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson. Fellowship and snacks will be available a 5 pm and the discussion will begin at 5:30.
Jaschen will discuss organ and tissue donation, and explain how to donate, what happens with donations, and the effect on donors and recipients. She will also share stories of “this special gift.”
“This is the season of giving. learn about the ultimate gift, the gift of life,” said Community Conversations coordinator Lois Rae Brant.
